The IAYC Board is delighted to announce that its congress – International Academy of Young Cardiologists, 2022 - will welcome you back from 17 to 20 September onsite in North Cyprus with online option from where ever you are!

IAYC is dedicated to make cardiovascular science accessible to all young cardiologists worldwide, while advancing innovations in the field of cardiology to reduce the burden of cardiovascular diseases. In line with this mission, the annual congress of IAYC intend to update your skills while give you a prime opportunity to present novel research and clinical findings.

In Cyprus, we want to welcome you in a comfortable environment where you will be with colleagues from all over the World. There will be onsite activities to enhance networking. The sessions will be interactive and bring the latest science in preventive cardiology, interventional cardiology, cardiovascular imaging and arrhythmia.

Online version will be satisfactory with its scientific content to those who are unable to attend in person. The digital experience will be with live formats and enhanced interactivity

  • Abstracts and clinical cases related to the area of cardiovascular diseases must be submitted ONLY via Abstract Submission Services on congress website. E-mailed abstracts will not be considered.
  • All abstracts must be written and presented in English.
  • Abstracts will be evaluated by scientific committee of the congress and at least two scientific referees.
  • All accepted abstracts will be oral presentations or as e-posters. The presentations will be oral or as posters. The Scientific Programme Committee reserves the right to allocate abstracts to either oral presentations or e-poster.
  • Submitted abstracts will be published in the scientific program and abstract book.
  • If the abstract is accepted, the author commits to present the work at International Academy of Young Cardiologists Congress 2022. Presenters of accepted abstracts must register for the congress before 4 July 2022. At least one the presenting authors is expected to attend and register Congress. If a presenter fails to register: The abstract(s) will not be published in the abstract book and will be rejected for presentation at the Congress.
  • Please consider that abstracts cannot be changed after submission and if your abstract is accepted for oral presentation, the presenting author will be permitted a maximum of 2 oral presentations in the program. Additional accepted abstracts will therefore be e-poster only.
  • Submission deadline is 31 July 2022, 23:59 (CET – Central European Time)
  • Abstracts that are in draft status after the deadline cannot be processed and will not be considered for selection.
  • At least, one of the authors whose names are mentioned in related abstract must be registered to the congress and make a live presentation in relevant meeting room/hall
  • An author can only register two abstracts.
  • Abstracts not presented at the congress will not be included in the congress booklet.

  • The abstracts must be written clearly in English. Any error in spelling, grammar or scientific facts will be published as you typed them.
  • Abstracts must be submitted ONLY via the online congress website.
  • The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.
  • Submitted abstracts should include non-published data.
  • The title of the abstract should be brief and reflect the content of the abstract. Each Word in the title of the abstract must be capitalized. Please enter the FIRST NAME in full, followed by the LAST NAME, for each author Without abbreviations (e.g. Ahmet Yılmaz , and NOT A. Yılmaz).
  • Abstract must consist of four paragraphs labelled: OBJECTIVE, METHOD (CASE), RESULTS and CONCLUSION.
  • Maximum one (1) table and/or two (2) graph/images can be included per abstract.
  • Tables and graphs/images will be accepted as PNG, JPG, or GIF files.
  • References and key words are not required for abstract submission.
  • Incomplete abstracts or abstracts not written in English cannot be processed and will not be reviewed. Notification regarding abstract acceptance, status and scheduling will be sent to the submitting author via e-mail.
