As members of the International Academy of Young Cardiologists (IAYC), our mission is to provide young cardiologists with a unique opportunity to review the latest developments in the field of heart diseases and present their work on an international platform. We are honored to announce that the 5th IAYC Congress will be held in Northern Cyprus between 18-22 September 2024.

This year, we will organize a congress concept with the theme of "Heart Failure". Heart failure is among the leading health problems in terms of mortality and morbidity all over the world.

In this congress, the subject of heart failure will be evaluated in its various aspects in the light of current literature. Abstract sessions will constitute another main part of our congress. Our main concern has been to provide young cardiologists with the opportunity to present their research. Abstracts will be evaluated by our referees and qualified ones will be presented in the sessions. This year, for the first time, the Cardiovascular Academy Congress & IYAC congress will hold joint sessions and meetings with wide participation.

We would like to host you in Cyprus at our scientifically and socially packed congress, where you will be together with your colleagues from all over the world.

RULES of Abstract SUBMISSION

• Abstracts and clinical cases related to the area of cardiovascular diseases must be submitted ONLY via Abstract Submission Services on congress website. E-mailed Abstracts will not be considered.
• All Abstracts must be written and presented in English.
• Abstracts will be evaluated by scientific committee of the congress and at least two scientific referees.
• All accepted Abstracts will be oral presentations or as e-posters. The presentations will be oral or as posters. The Scientific Programme Committee reserves the right to allocate Abstracts to either oral presentations or e-poster.
• Submitted Abstracts will be published in the scientific program and Abstract book.
• If the Abstract is accepted, the author commits to present the work at International Academy of Young Cardiologists Congress 2024. Presenters of accepted Abstracts must register for the congress before 20 July 2024. At least one the presenting authors is expected to attend and register Congress. If a presenter fails to register: The Abstract(s) will not be published in the Abstract book and will be rejected for presentation at the Congress.
• Please consider that Abstracts cannot be changed after submission and if your Abstract is accepted for oral presentation, the presenting author will be permitted a maximum of 2 oral presentations in the program. Additional accepted Abstracts will therefore be e-poster only.
• Submission deadline is 20 July 2024, 23:59 (CET – Central European Time)
• Abstracts that are in draft status after the deadline cannot be processed and will not be considered for selection.
• At least, one of the authors whose names are mentioned in related Abstract must be registered to the congress and make a live presentation in relevant meeting room/hall
• An author can only register two Abstracts.
• Abstracts not presented at the congress will not be included in the congress booklet.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION

• The Abstracts must be written clearly in English. Any error in spelling, grammar or scientific facts will be published as you typed them.
• Abstracts must be submitted ONLY via the online congress website.
• The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the Abstract before submission.
• Submitted Abstracts should include non-published data.
• The title of the Abstract should be brief and reflect the content of the Abstract. Each Word in the title of the Abstract must be capitalized. Please enter the FIRST NAME in full, followed by the LAST NAME, for each author Without abbreviations (e.g. Ahmet Yılmaz , and NOT A. Yılmaz).
• Abstract must consist of four paragraphs labelled: OBJECTIVE, METHOD (CASE), RESULTS and CONCLUSION.
• Maximum one (1) table and/or two (2) graph/images can be included per Abstract.
• Tables and graphs/images will be accepted as PNG, JPG, or GIF files.
• References and key words are not required for Abstract submission.
• Incomplete Abstracts or Abstracts not written in English cannot be processed and will not be reviewed. Notification regarding Abstract acceptance, status and scheduling will be sent to the submitting author via e-mail.
